If you want to add drama and bring more attention to your castings, try this layered framing technique. This is especially easy when you have the paper punches that fit our molds perfectly.  For each one you'll need 2 punch sizes.

Here are the dimensions of the shapes our Heart Punches make, these punched-out shapes will fit nicely into our Heart Molds.  For this technique you'll need to use the punch designed to fit the mold size you select, and the next smallest punch to create the center window:

Smallest Heart Punch makes shapes 1" across x 7/8" high, so size the part of your photo you want to use slightly larger so you have wiggle room when you punch.

Next smallest Heart Punch makes shapes almost 1.5" across x 1.25" high, so size the part of your photo you want to use slightly larger so you have wiggle room when you punch.

3rd largest Heart Punch makes shapes almost 2" across x 1.75" high, so size the part of your photo you want to use slightly larger so you have wiggle room when you punch.

Largest Heart Punch makes shapes almost 2.5" across x 2" high, so size the part of your photo you want to use slightly larger so you have wiggle room when you punch.

Step 1: Turn your punch upside-down so you can see exactly what you're punching through the metal outline, and feed in your photo.  You may need to trim your photo so it fits all the way into the punch the way you want.  Punch your main photo and the frame piece.  It's easier if you punch the smaller shape opening first, then position the larger shape so the smaller one is in the center.

Step 2: Pour a layer of resin in your mold - no more than half way deep.  Slide your photo in and gently push it to the bottom.  Let it rest for 10 minutes and check for bubbles.  Repeat if necessary, then let that layer set up for at least 4 hours, or whenever you get back to it.

Step 3: Pour a second layer of resin and insert your frame piece.  Arrange with your Mixing Wand or Tiny Pointy Swabs, allow to rest 10 minutes then check for bubbles.  Allow this second layer to set up for a full 12 hours before de-molding to prevent fingerprinting.

Step 4: Trim the top edge so it's nice and even.   If you'd like you can Dome Up your castings, here's a tutorial and some examples.

Step 5: Turn this piece into a wearable keepsake by adding jewelry findings, magnets, or ribbon so it becomes a decoration!
