This project uses the Doming Technique, which relies on surface tension to keep your resin from flowing over the edges of a stiff, flat surface. For this to work, you need a resin with high surface tension, the item you're doming has to be totally flat and strong/stiff enough to support the resin without bending, buckling or warping, and you need to elevate your shapes so nothing touches the sides, as anything touching the edges will pull the resin over the side and off of your piece.

This is a project that can be done with the materials in our Brilliant Resin Starter Kit + Dichro-ISH Films, or you can pick up the supplies above listed specifically to make this project. It's an easy resin project, but you do need some patience as both sides of your pendant will need to be domed, before you can drill your piece and add jewelry findings.

Step 1: Print your spider or any graphics on Clear Photo Film, or find clear stickers you want to use.

Step 2: Stick a sheet of Dichro-ISH Film to the back of your graphic, then cut out whatever shape you want.

Step 3: Dome the back side with Brilliant Resin, allow to set up at least 12+ hours, then dome the front side.

Step 4: Drill holes wherever you want and add jewelry findings.
