This is called a Dirty Pour project. That means blending different colors in different cups, then pouring them into 1 cup without fully blending before you pour. The result is a flowing, mottled, stone-like effect which will vary based on 5 things:

I wasn't sure what I wanted to make with these cast pieces, so I did some sketching:
In the end I decided on some simple stud earrings, so I domed up the backs of the smaller pieces with clear resin and embedded the post in it, for the very best possible hold. The larger casting ended up as a cabinet knob!
