This piece follows the same steps as my other domed fabric projects, but then layers the bird cut-outs over a saturated but not domed background cut from the same fabric. This accentuates the dimension and gives the 2 layers different textures.

I finished this piece by drilling holes and putting jumprings through them, then I scavanged an old broken chain to use that's been in my jewelry box, waiting for a new life.
