Sometimes I have some mixed resin leftover and I have to use it or lose it. In this case I quickly formed a little rose out of colored wire and dropped it into my mixing cup. I really like how this turned out!

Because this was leftover resin from the cup, which had been dipped into many times, there are more bubbles than usual, but nothing goes to waste around here!

After popping it out there was a little stickiness around the rim from unblended resin from the very bottom of my mixing cup. So I domed up the bottom, which then became the front.

Then I domed the back with white resin and embedded a magnet. This would also make a great button, drawer pull, or pendant.
