buggy buttons

I Aren’t these great?!!  Rather than  embedding real bugs, I got these amazing metal pieces from Susan Clarke Originals, and made these three stunners.  The colors reflect so beautifully around the sides of the resin.

I’m not sure if I’ll make pendants or magnets from them yet – magnets, I think. I recently met Susan and her hubby Randy, what great people!  The butterfly and bug were buttons, so I cut the shanks off, and the shamrock was an embellishment, so it plopped right into the Little Windows Resin without a bubble!

My girls keep trying to steal these, I’ll have to order some more to play with!
